The name Kamandalu is adopted from Sanskrit. It means "the vessel that holds the holy water". The process of making this vessel, Kamandalu, has deep spiritual meaning: an individual must break away from the attachment of the world and purify himself of self-desire in order to experience inner peace. The look of Kamandalu is simple, but it holds great importance since it holds the holy water. The holy water itself is believed to be the elixir of life.

The 58 villas of Kamandalu Resort & Spa designed individually blend harmoniously with natural surrounding. Each villa feature spacious bedroom, indoor living space, bathroom with sunken bathtub and private tropical courtyard with outdoor garden shower with its own enchanting panoramic view across the lush valley of Ubud and Petanu River, one of  the major rivers in Ubud. All materials built into the villas were specifically picked for a specific reason to present you with the best possible blissful experience. All of our villas feature natural stone finishing and indigenous grass (alang-alang) roofings. Most villas have their own private "Bale Bengong" (traditional outdoor day-bed) for the perfect enjoyment of the art of doing nothing. Kamandalu Resort & Spa featuring 8 Ubud Chalet (114 meter square) overlooking and surrounded by rice paddies. 5 Duplex Villa (114 meter square) with 10 bedrooms combination of upper and lower bedrooms surrounded by the terraced rice paddies, ideal for a family or two couples travelling together. 19 Garden Villas (129 meter square) with spacious bedroom and each villa has a panoramic view across Ubud`s green valley and day bed. 12 Pool Villas ( 165 meter sqaure) a spacious bedroom with a large private free-form pool and a Balinese day bed overlooking the tropical hillside. 5 Deluxe Pool Villa (300 meter square) a villa with a large private free-form pool and a Balinese day bed overlooking the tropical hillside. Petulu Restaurant-For a fresh morning breakfast or for a fine-dining experience, serving delicious Asian cuisine plus a wide range of western choice. Voted as Best Restaurant by  Indonesian Tatler Magazine. With capacity 50 seat and open for breakfast 07:00-10:00 and for dinner 18:00-22:30.
Cempaka Lounge-The openair lounge, an ideal place for a delicious lunch in a very relaxing atmosphere overlooking the valley and rice paddies, serves Asian-Western fusion cuisine. Seating capacity 25 and open for lunch 11:00-18:00.
Waroeng Subak Bar & Lounge- A cozy lounge featuring comfortable couches, a bar, a pool table, board games, book/magazine collection and 42" flat screen TV with satellite channels.
Swim up Bar- A unique swim up bar serves refreshing cocktails and tasty snack in the middle of swimming pool. Open hours 08:00-22:00.

Meeting, Conferences and Theme Dinner
The 215 square meter wooden floor, high ceiling Bale Ketemu is fully equipped and serviced by an experience staff. It offers facilities suitable for anything from serious business meeting to a private wedding party, from a seminar to a sales meeting, from a sumptuous banquet to a lively cocktail gala. Kamandalu`s spacious tropical garden is an ideal place to hold an enchating Balinese cultural performance or imaginative Theme Dinner with Asian or Western menu.

2. Remarks
   - Check in at 14:00 hour and Check out at 12:00 noon
   - Late check out until 18:00 hours will be charged 50% of room rate, later than 18:00 hours considered as 1 night stay
   - Children 6-11 years old sharing room with parent using extra bed is free of charge and breakfast will be charged at USD 14net/child
   - Children under 5 years old sharing with parent using extra bed is free of charge
   - High season period: July 15 - August 31
